Ohio EdChoice Voucher Program

Registration: We are accepting registration for children currently attending St. Lawrence for grades K-8. Contact the school office at 921-4996 for information. Open registration will begin on March 12th.

Kindergarten/Preschool: If you have a new kindergarten or preschool student, you will need to come to the school office between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm to register. You will need to bring his/her original birth certificate and social security card to the office to be copied. If you are enrolling a kindergartener under the EdChoice Scholarship program, you must also provide a current proof of residence. Kindergarteners must be 5 years old by September 30, 2008. Preschoolers must be 3 years old by September 30, 2008 and must be potty trained. Kindergarteners will be signed up for a time to come to the kindergarten screening on May 21st.

EdChoice Scholarship Vouchers: If your child(ren) received the EdChoice voucher for the 2007-08 school year, it is time to renew the voucher for the 2008-09 school year. You should have received a renewal form from the Ohio Department of Education in the past several weeks. This form must be completed, signed and turned in to the school office to be renewed. You must also provide proof of current residence. Proof of address may include a current copy of a utility bill, lease agreement, mortgage agreement, or pay stub that verifies your address.

Financial Aid for 2007-2008 School Year

FINANCIAL AID FORMS FOR THE 2008-2009 SCHOOL YEAR are available in the school office and the Rectory.

To qualify for St. Lawrence Financial Aid:

Your child must attend St. Lawrence in grade K-8 OR a Catholic High School in 2008-2009.
You must be an active parishioner (use weekly envelopes)
You must apply by the 3:00 pm deadline of March 1, 2007
You must send with your application your 2006 W-2 AND income tax return.

St. Lawrence School Policy Concerning Refunds on Student Tuition/School Fees

At the time of registration, initial tuition and cafeteria fees for each student must be paid in full.

PLEASE NOTE:

IF A REGISTERED CHILD WITHDRAWS BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR, OUR ST. LAWRENCE POLICY IS AS FOLLOWS:

AFTER REGISTRATION AND PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL:
- The cafeteria fee is refunded. The initial registration fee is not refunded.
BEGINNING WITH THE FIRST DAY OF THE SCHOOL YEAR
- NO refunds for cafeteria fee or registration/tuition fees/payments.
