Second Grade News
Week of May 16, 2010
Dear Parents,
This will be the last Second Grade Newsletter you will be receiving this year. We have had a very busy year of learning and soon it will be time for our summer break. Be sure that your child reads daily over the summer months and also works on math skills. That way they will be ready to begin the new school year in August.
Reminder: On Monday, May 24th, the second graders will have their Skyline lunch and fun afternoon. If your child doesn't like the Skyline 3-ways, he or she will need to pack their lunch. Drinks will be provided for all of the children. On June 2nd, we will be having our pizza party. Thanks to all of you and our special helper for sending in all of the pop tabs for us!
Both of us would like to thank each of you for all of your help and support this year. We do appreciate the interest you have shown in your child's education.
Please take time to fill out the attacked information sheet and return it to us by next Wednesday. Your input will help us decide how we will be communicating with parents next year.
Last but not least, please remember to attend Mass with your child every week during the summer. It would also be good if you could take your child to confession before school begins in August. Confessions are every Saturday afternoon between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m.
