SETON SAINTS:  Seton High School Jr. High cross country team is looking for any girls in the 7th and 8th grades who are interested in running for their team.  For more information call Sarah Loebker or call 921-8677 

 

CROSS COUNTRY:  Attention 7th  & 8th grade boys!  The 6th season of the Panther Jr. High cross country running team will begin on Tuesday, July 15th at Story Woods Park on Pontius Road behind Rapid Run Middle School.  Practices are Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:45pm and Saturday morning at 10am and last about an hour.  For more information contact Jason Berling, at 240-4860.
 

BANQUET:  Sacred Heart Radio, 740 AM, celebrates the one year anniversary of its popular “Son Rise Morning Show with Brian Patrick.”  John Cardinal Foley will be the special guest at a fundraising banquet on Thursday, October 2, 2008.  Cardinal Foley is perhaps best known as a television commentator for Papal Masses and other events from the Vatican.  Seating space is limited.  Make reservations now by calling 731-7740 or visiting their website.

 

HEALTH FAIR:  Western Hills Retirement Village is sponsoring a Health Fair at the Delhi Senior Center, 647 Neeb Road on July 17, 2008 from 9am – 12 pm.  There will be free information services for all who attend.  For more information call the Western Hills Retirement Village at 941-0099.
 

COLLEGE OF MT. ST. JOSEPH:  is hosting an athletic training workshop for middle and high school students on July 16-17 from 9am-4pm.  The cost is $70/person before July 1st and $85 after July 1st   For information or to register contact Donna Panzeca at 244-4890

FESTIVAL 

St. Simon Festival on Rapid Run and Pontius Road will be held on Saturday, July 19th from 5:30pm – 11pm and on Sunday, July 20th from 5:00pm – 10:30pm.  Main award - $8000 in cash prizes.  Also, a gas card booth.  Large assortment of food, music, and famous corn on the cob.

RETROUVAILLE:
